Presentation & Fast Forward Guidelines

You will find on this page the Eurographics 2018 PowerPoint template, as well as the Fast Forward instructions.

Eurographics 2018 provides a common template for all presentations of the conference. You are free to use the Eurographics 2018 template or your own design (see guidelines below). The template is only mandatory for the title slide of the Fast Forward presentation.

The Fast Forward session will take place at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 16th, 2018. At least one author of each paper will be presenting a 25-second preview of the talk. This year all the presentations for the Fast Forward will be embedded in a movie. We ask the authors to prepare:

• A 30 second movie. The first 5 seconds of the movie show a title slide, displaying the title of the paper, authors and affiliations. It is mandatory to use the PowerPoint template provided on this page to prepare the title slide shown in the first 5 seconds. The remaining 25 seconds will present the main contributions of the paper (do not put the title in this 25-second movie). For your own movie (25 seconds), your are only bound by the limits of your imagination (and our formatting guidelines). Eurographics 2018 has several concurrent sessions each day, and attendees will decide which presentations to attend based (in part) on the preview during the Fast Forward session. Creativity is highly encouraged!

We will be screening at 1080p (resolution: 1920 x 1080, aspect ratio: 16:9). Please optimize your video for these projector settings. Audio is welcome. If you use audio in your movies, please have it encoded in AAC format. Video files should be encoded in H264 and embedded in MP4 (do NOT use QuickTime (.mov) or other formats).

We will collect all the material for all the papers, then assemble them into a single movie. We will strictly enforce our formatting guidelines, including the 5 seconds for title slide and the 25 seconds time limit on your own content.

During the Fast Forward session the 5 seconds showing the title slides will be used for switching speakers.

Submit your Fast Forward video using the SRM submission system. In the upload area of your submission, select the item "Fast Forward video" and upload the video.

Fast Forward submission deadline: April 1, 2018.

CGF papers invited for presentation at EG2018 submit their Fast Forward video via mail to EG2018ff@tudelft.nl. For submissions larger than 5MB in size, please include a link from where your video can be downloaded from. We will send you a mail confirming your Fast Forward video submission.
